We are athletes!

Through SABAH, individuals challenged by disabilities can set and attain goals to improve strength, balance, self-discipline and focus. Skaters learn to develop a process of goal-setting and goal-achieving that can be mirrored in other life activities. Athletes share the ice-skating experience with their family and friends as a recreational activity, developing a "can do" attitude. For most, it becomes an established approach to new challenges that impact daily life both on and off the ice. SABAH helps skaters sustain better overall health and wellness including: muscle strength, fine and gross motor skills, coordination, social skills and self esteem.
