Sabres & SABAH Hosted Successful Skate-A-Thon

On Thursday, February 4th, 2010 SABAH athletes participated in a fundraising skate-a-thon hosted by Buffalo Sabre Mike Grier and fellow Sabres, Steve Montador and Derek Roy at HSBC Arena.

Over 150 SABAH athletes participated and raised over $12,500 for our organization.  Skaters enjoyed skating & photos with their favorite Sabre and having jerseys and hats signed at the arena.

This event marks the fourth annual Sabres/SABAH Skate coordinated by the Buffalo Sabres as part of their continuing commitment to our therapeutic ice-skating program that serves the Western New York community.  The event is a highlight of our skating season!
